Vision Statement:

The Staff Development Department will design training programs to serve all employees based on the identified goals of the strategic plan established by the School Board.

Department Goals:

• to provide system-wide Staff Development for all employees aligned with the goals of the MCSD Strategic Plan
• to provide Staff Development opportunities for schools focused on effective teaching, assessment and uniform performance standards linked to research-based practices as determined by the Instructional Division
• to provide instructional support and assistance for all new teachers through the New Teacher Induction Program
• to maintain the excellent services in the Teacher Resource Center
• to continue implementation of School Leadership training
